Move-in Safety
We are committed to ensuring the ongoing health and safety of you and our residents. Here is what you can expect as you move in to on of our Independent Living communities:
SELF-ISOLATION PERIOD
Before moving in, we strongly recommend a period of self-isolation—minimizing contact within your bubble and avoiding public places. Assurance of this can lead to a decision by the General Manager to modify the self-isolation process upon move-in.
Those who do not pre-isolate can expect to spend the first 14 days self-isolating in your suite with meals delivered to you. The General Manager and Residency Coordinator will work with you to ensure your move-in experience and orientation to the building are smooth and simple.
HAND HYGIENE
On the day of the move, please use the hand sanitizing stations as you enter and exit the residence.
MASKS
On the day of the move, everyone involved must wear a mask while in the common spaces of the building. Masks will be available for those who arrive without one.
SCREENING
On the day of the move everyone involved must complete the digital health screening process at reception before proceeding. In the event you do no pass the screening, we will work with you to reschedule.
ELEVATORS
An elevator will be blocked off for your use during your move. The Residency Coordinator will work with you to schedule movers to come between 7 am – 10 am or after 6 pm, to ensure minimal interaction with residents and staff.
SOCIAL DISTANCE
During your move-in please maintain appropriate social distance between yourself, staff and other residents.
AVOIDING SOCIAL SPACES
During your move please do not visit common spaces.
