Celebrating 14 Years of Leadership at Sunridge Gardens

Shannon Saunders

Since opening Sunridge Gardens in 2011, Shannon has poured her heart into creating a warm, vibrant home for Langley’s seniors. After 14 years of outstanding leadership, Shannon Saunders is retiring as General Manager on August 22, 2025

She knows every resident’s name, every flower in the garden, and every piece of art on the wall—because to Shannon, the details matter when it comes to creating a wonderful home.

Shannon’s fingerprints are all over the building, as she has cared for it like it was her own home. A recent decor update shows her talents and interior design. She also has an extra-special talent for making Christmas spectacular for residents, family members, staff, and neighbours.

But Shannon’s most significant impact is on the lives of the many residents and family members who have made Sunridge Gardens their home over the past 14 years. She’s shown her care in so many ways, from the simple act of listening to concerns to advocating for vibrant seniors living and even decorating individual residents’ balconies at Christmas.

As she heads off to enjoy more sunshine and well-deserved adventures, we thank Shannon for the sparkle, compassion, and excellent leadership she has brought to Sunridge Gardens. She leaves behind a legacy of vibrant senior living that will continue to flourish for years to come.

Thank you, Shannon. You’ll always be part of the Sunridge Gardens family.
