Resident Satisfaction

Bria’s vision is to be the leader in creative, supportive and safe home-like settings that enable our residents to lead quality lives. Our commitment is to understand every part of our business, from our successes to where we need to make improvements.

To measure our success and challenges in reaching this goal, we contract Unifocus, a US-based leader in customer-centred survey tools, to conduct our annual resident engagement and satisfaction surveys.

The 2015 survey distributed to residents at three of our seniors’ communities produced remarkable results. Residents placed Bria Communities in the top 10% (90th percentile) under the Unifocus Resident Satisfaction Benchmark.

The highest scores in the survey were

  • Overall experience
  • Likelihood for recommendations
  • Products and services, such as level of care, meals and recreation, and
  • Staff and management, including reception, housekeeping, dining and maintenance.
