Peace in the Valley, The Old Rugged Cross and Teddy Bear—are just a few hits you’ll hear at the free Gospel & More Concert on Friday, April 26 at Town + Field Church in Langley.
Elvis tribute artist Steve Elliott will sing hits from The King’s Southern Gospel songbook and some Top 40 treats. This free event is open to people 65+ and is sponsored by two Langley retirement residences, Magnolia Gardens and Sunridge Gardens, which belong to Bria Communities Senior Living.
“This is the third we’ve hosted this event,” says Bria Communities’ Marketing Manager, Janice Miller. “We’re confident we’ll have a full house again this year. Steve Elliott is one of the very best Elvis tribute artists—he’s very entertaining, but his heart is in it too.” While the concert is open to seniors 65+, exceptions will be made for caregivers and support staff.
Friday, April 26, from 2-3 pm. Doors open at 1 pm; no earlybirds, please.
