On September 18th we held our version of the Terry Fox Walk. Over 20 residents participated in the “Silver Fox Walk” which was held at nearby Arthur Rose park. The weather cooperated and the sun even came out to greet us.
After the walk there were hotdogs and smoothies to enjoy by donation and 50/50 tickets were sold. The afternoon was lots of fun as residents bought tickets for a chance to guess which baby picture belonged to which staff member.
By the end of the day we raised a whopping $1742.05 for cancer research. Way to go Sunridge Gardens!
