Bria Communities was proud to sponsor the Langley Community Health and Hospital Foundation’s recent donor appreciation tea, an event celebrating a group of very generous individuals and highlighting the impact of their donations on local healthcare services.
During the event, attendees learned about how their contributions have made a difference over the past year, including funding new technology for pain specialists and replacing both X-ray machines at Langley Memorial Hospital.
The Langley Specialized Seniors Clinic also shared insights into how they support seniors in maintaining health and independence. “Our donors’ commitment to healthcare in Langley is saving lives, changing lives, and ensuring that people in our community receive the care they deserve—where and when they need it,” shared the Hospital Foundation.
The Langley Specialized Seniors Clinic, which works alongside primary care providers, home health services, and the hospital, offers “wrap-around” care tailored to each senior’s needs. With a team that includes geriatricians, RNs, occupational therapists, and social workers, the clinic enhances care for seniors in Langley, helping reduce waitlists and providing both in-clinic and home visits for home-bound seniors.
Keri Severinski, Residency Coordinator for Magnolia Gardens and Sunridge Gardens, was moved by the event celebrating the donors’ contributions: “It’s so inspiring to be among so many seniors who have invested so much in making sure the people of Langley have access to the healthcare they need. They have made a decision to use their wealth for the good of others, and it’s a beautiful thing to see.”
Bria Communities is honoured to be a part of such a wonderful event to celebrate the seniors in Langley who have made a long-term commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives that enhance the lives of their neighbours.
