Sunridge Gardens invited some new friends over from the Waterford in Tsawwassen in reciprocation to a wonderful BBQ lunch that the Waterford held for us some months back. The residents from the Waterford were greeted by a group of Sunridge residents who volunteered to be ambassadors. Our guest were treated to the first performance for our Glee Club ( the first performance in front of an actual audience).
Our Glee Club members were all decked out in black and white and wore hand made corsages for this exciting event. Later, the Waterford residents and the Sunridge Gardens ambassadors enjoyed a private lunch together where they all got to know each other better. After lunch was our usual bingo hour and the Waterford residents joined in for the chance to win some big cash pots. By the end of the day it seemed that some lasting friendships were made and we look forward to the next time we are able to have our residents meet residents from one of our other Bria sites!
