This year for the family BBQ at The Waterford we went to beautiful Greece. The menu was inspired by the wonderful foods of the Greek Islands. The kitchen staff worked hard to make our diner an experience to remember so thank you to them for all of their teamwork!
The entertainers, Ashley and Tim, from oriental Dance Ensemble wowed us all. Ashley kept the crowd mesmerized with her belly dancing and sword play and Tim’s drum playing brought life to her performance. They are an outstanding duo.
The decorations looked wonderful and were put up by our Recreation Team as well as one of our volunteers, who has an excellent imagination. Together they were able to really transform the space! The ambiance was as close to Greece as we will come.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers who made this event come alive. A bigger thank you to the residents and their families for coming and having a wonderful time as this is what makes all of the hard work worth while.
