Embracing Nature and Community: Renovations at The Waterford

The Waterford's renovation finishes

At The Waterford Seniors Community in Tsawwassen, an exciting renovation project is underway to refresh the interior spaces and bring the outdoors in. Inspired by the beauty of the coast and the charm of the surrounding farmland land, this renovation aims celebrates the harmonious relationship between nature and community. The result will be a beautiful space that reflects residents’ interests, embraces the natural beauty around them, and fosters a strong sense of belonging.

A Coastal Agricultural Heritage

Drawing from Tsawwassen’s heritage as a coastal agricultural community, the design concept for the renovation pays tribute to these roots. It blends the clean lines of the West Coast design aesthetic with the natural textures and warmth of a contemporary farmhouse. This combination captures the region’s essence, providing residents a comforting and familiar environment.

Nature-Inspired Color Palette

The landscape of Tsawwassen influences the colour palette chosen for the renovation. Warm sandy neutrals and earth tones evoke the coastal beauty of Boundary Bay, while accents of copper and green bring a touch of the fertile vibrancy of Southlands. The organic patterns and textures throughout the space connect to nature, while classic geometric accents add a sense of timeless elegance.
