Manager, Culinary Services/Executive Chef
At the age of 10, Leif started chopping vegetables in his parent's small eatery in the Philippines and quickly fell in love with cooking. After training in Hotel and Restaurant Management, he honed his skills working in the Shangri La Hotels both in the Philippines and Canada. Leif graduated from Vancouver Culinary College, and in 2013 started as a sous chef at The Waterford. It was there that he completed his Red Seal certificate. Leif loves creating delicious meals that put smiles on residents faces. His secret ingredient in each meal is his passion and dedication!
Our vision is to be the leader in creating a supportive, safe, home which enables our residents to lead active and fulfilling lives.
We want you to have the freedom to live independently in a relaxed and caring family atmosphere, sharing your days with like-minded seniors, who enjoy laughing, companionship and fun.
