General Manager
Matthew has been part leading and shapring Bria Communities since 2011. Originally, Matt wore the whites of an Executive Chef at The Waterford; his commitment to serving residents with creativity and excellence was an advantage in the kitchen, as they are now in his office as manager. Matt is passionate about excellence at The Waterford in both Independent Living and BriaCare.
Helyn Jatulan
Lifestyle & Wellness Manager
Helyn leads the Lifestyle & Wellness team with exuberance, warmth and expertise that comes from years of experience working in local senior living communities. She loves crafting programs and experiences that make it easy for residents to live active, purposeful and vibrant lives.
Sanjeewa 'Yapa' Mudiyanselage
Executive Chef & Culinary Manager
Yapa honed his skills working in high-end resorts and restaurants from Sri Lanka to Dubai. In 2023, he transitioned to senior living in Canada and worked as a Sous Chef at The Waterford before transitioning to Executive Chef. He is passionate about making delicious, fresh food that pleases and delights the seniors who call The Waterford home.
Andie Bakehouse
Community Relations & Residency Coordinator
Andie was instrumental in opening The Wexford in 2016. Her first-hand experience with seniors and her familiarity with Tsawwassen make her an excellent resource for seniors and their loved ones looking to transition to senior living. Andie is cheerful, effervescent and always available to answer questions or take you on a tour of The Wexford or The Waterford.
