Matt is a strong Bria leader who has been part of the team since 2011. Originally Matt wore the whites of a Executive Chef on the Bria team, his commitment to serving residents with creativity and excellence were an advantage in the kitchen, as they are now in his office as manager. He is Dad to three young boys, husband to Jeannine. Matt is passionate about excellence at The Waterford in both Independent Living and BriaCare™.
Director of Care Carli has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She has worked in long-term care for over ten years, initially as a care aid and most recently as Director of Health and Wellness at a long-term care community in South Surrey. Carli has a passion for senior care. She believes quality of life is essential as seniors enter their final years and considers herself fortunate to support them in this season.
Manager, Culinary Services/Executive Chef
Originally from the East Coast, in 2005, Matthew graduated with a Diploma in Culinary Arts and, in 2014, obtained his Red Seal designation. Matthew worked in fine dining restaurants throughout Nova Scotia and, upon moving to the west coast, transitioned to Executive Chef in the retirement community industry. Matthew’s goal is to provide the best meal experience for all residents, respecting tastes and preferences, and developing menus specific to the people he serves.
Brenda ensures that our residents always have the opportunity to partake in exciting bus trips, daily fitness programs, attend social hours, and be part of in-house book clubs, gardening clubs and games. She implements recreational opportunities that fit with each persons' mobility and cognitive abilities.
Community Relations & Residency Coordinator
Andie has been part of the Bria Communities family for many years and was instrumental in the opening and operations of The Wexford in 2016. Her first-hand experience working with seniors combined with her knowledge of Bria Communities and South Delta, makes her an excellent resource for seniors and their loved ones looking to transition to senior living. Andie is cheerful, effervescent and always available to answer questions or take you on a tour of The Wexford or The Waterford.
